Learn to Change, Change to Learn

This short video gives some information about a new set of literacy that is becoming more imporant than the literacies that are being taught in today's schools. As an educator this is a challenge to change how we approach lessons every single day. For parents, it is a way for you to push for an educational system that teaches critical thinking skills and other 21st century skills.

  1. This is a very exciting time for learning and an important time for people of my age to understand the necessity of changing our way of looking at old models of education into the new models of 21st century learners. Change is hard especially when there is so much unknown for those of us for whom technology has "snuck" in right under our very noses. And continues to change at a rapid rate. I want to get on board with this level of understanding not only because I want my children to be successful, but so that I'll be able to communicate with them in their world! - Betty Lewis
